Hi, ich bin Max

Ich bin Musiker, Produzent und Musiklehrer und lebe in Berlin. Ich unterrichte Klavier, Bass und Musikproduktion, mit viel Raum für Kreativität, Neugier und den eigenen musikalischen Ausdruck.

Dabei richte ich den Unterricht ganz nach dir, deinen Zielen und deinem Musikgeschmack. Egal, ob du gerade erst anfängst oder schon Erfahrung mitbringst: Wir können gemeinsam einen Song lernen, den du magst, improvisieren, an deiner Technik arbeiten, eigene Musik schreiben oder eine Idee in Ableton oder Logic zu einem fertigen Track entwickeln.

Über mich

Ich habe 'Popular Music Performance' am Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London studiert und bin zertifizierter Arts Award Adviser.

Seit über 11 Jahren arbeite ich als Musiker, Produzent und Musiklehrer, zunächst in London und heute in Berlin. Aktuell bin ich Dozent für Musikproduktion an der Hochschule Macromedia, Klavierlehrer bei Simplay Musikschule und leite Workshops und Musikprojekte mit Berliner Kulturinstitutionen unter anderem im Fotografiska.

Durch meine Arbeit mit Kindern und Jugendlichen aus ganz unterschiedlichen sozialen und kulturellen Hintergründen habe ich gelernt, meinen Unterricht flexibel an verschiedene Bedürfnisse und Lernweisen anzupassen.

Neben dem Unterrichten bin ich als Bassist, Keyboarder, Produzent und Musical Director aktiv und arbeite mit Künstler:innen wie Sans Soucis und Davide Shorty. Meine eigene Musik wurde unter anderem auf Roya/Warp und Squareglass veröffentlicht und von BBC Radio 1 und Worldwide FM gespielt. Außerdem arbeite ich in meinem eigenen Studio in Berlin, das durch Kulturräume Berlin gefördert wird.
